THORITY Request for Quotes (RFQ) The Crow Creek Housing Authority ("CCHA") is requesting Quotes from qualified firms, or individuals who are HVAC Technicians to provide "as needed" HVAC services on CCHA owned and managed low rent housing units located in Fort Thompson, SD, on the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe Reservation. Quoted prices shall be good for 90 days after the Quote due date. The firm or individual chosen will sign a contract which contains additional requirements for a period of three years with services not exceeding $250,000.00. There is no set minimum or maximum amount of work associated with this contract. Federal funds are being used to fund this project. Native American Preference applies to this solicitation. Contractors seeking Native American Preference may contact CCHA as set forth below. Responsive Quotations may also be accepted by Non-Native Contractors. PAYMENT AND COST OF WORK. The Contractor shall provide per hour pricing for a Licensed Plumber and any other personnel that would be utilized to carry out work under the contract. Include straight-time rates, overtime rates, any holiday & emergency rates, and taxes that would apply. Furthermore, provide a price list of Reimbursable Cost items that may be provided as part of the contract. Mileage for on-site visits and meals and incidental expenses will be paid at the approved GSA rate. A performance and payment bond or alternative form of security is required. AWARD. The contract will only be awarded to a responsive and responsible individual or firm. Subject to Native American Preference, the contract will be awarded to a qualified Native American owned enterprise submitting the lowest responsive quotation if such quotation is within budgeting limits established by this request and is within ten percent (10%) of the lowest responsive quotation from any qualified individual or firm. If no responsive quotation by a qualified Native American owned enterprise is within the above-stated limits, then the award will be made to the individual or firm with the lowest responsive quotation.
