Quest for Excellence Ou UEST Quality & Excellence Service Team Congratulations to Ivey Kanarick- Godinez, who was recently honored as a recipient of the BankWest QUEST award. QUEST, which stands for Quality and Excellence Service Team, is a recognition awarded to BankWest associates who consistently go above and beyond to deliver quality service. As a Learning and Development Facilitator, Ivey is responsible for delivering training and development programs that build employee skills, boost performance, and support business goals. Her position plays a key role in driving long-term business growth by improving productivity, employee engagement, and a culture of continuous learning. With a focus on recognizing and adapting to each employee's unique learning style, Ivey works with each individual to understand their strengths and align their development with their position as well as BankWest's brand and values. Ivey began her career in BankWest as a Universal Banker and then worked in Investment Services before transitioning into Learning & Development in 2021. She brings a diverse background to the team, including experience in the restaurant industry, retail, medical field, insurance, and court services. With a clear focus on employee learning and the overall success of the bank, Ivey has distinguished herself by going beyond basic training to deliver high impact and engaging learning experiences. Colleagues describe Ivey as bringing a positive and bright attitude to the office. She is also highly receptive to change and consistently focuses on finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems. One colleague added, "The L&D Department would not be as successful and would not have the amount of growth we've experienced in the last few years, if it were not for Ivey's precise and professional work in the department." Beyond her professional life, Ivey is actively involved with Team BankWest volunteerism to support community growth in the Pierre Area. She currently serves on the board of directors for The Right Turn and stays involved with the community through her kids' school and after school programs. Ivey has been married to her husband for 5 years and they have three children, Sturgill, Townes, and Prairie. The family also includes an English Springer Spaniel named Mack. In her downtime, Ivey enjoys spending quality time with her family, often watching Jeopardy and travel videos, or taking a drive to explore the national grasslands south of Pierre.
