Quest for Excellence Congratulations to Kristin Gabriel, who was recently honored as a recipient of the Bank West QUEST award. QUEST, which stands for Quality and Excellence Service Team, is a recognition awarded to BankWest associates who consistently go above and beyond to deliver quality service. Kristin was nominated for this recognition by her co-workers. QUEST As the AVP Sales/Marketing Channel Manager, Kristin is responsible for managing media placement and content creation in print, digital, social media, and various other communications channels for all lines of business at BankWest. She also serves as the point person for BankWest's scholarship program and several other special events sponsored by the bank. According to her BankWest co-workers, "Support of the team and the company is the role Kristin plays daily. Her work is never motivated by personal gain or recognition. She takes satisfaction in supporting the strategy of the bank and positioning her co-workers in the most positive way possible. Kristin is originally from Spencer, lowa. She is a graduate of Spencer High School and the University of South Dakota, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Contemporary Media and Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration. Prior to joining the BankWest sales and marketing team, Kristin worked as the Communications Director for the South Dakota Department of Social Services and at the Elections Department of the South Dakota Secretary of State's office for Secretary Shantel Krebs. A volunteer for a number of community causes, Kristin is on the Board of Directors for Pierre Players Community Theatre, serves on the SD Board of Nursing and is a long-time Junior Achievement instructor. She has also been highly involved in the Pierre Chamber's Leadership Pierre class since its inception.
